Women Betrayed

When there is no man anymore
to lean on and to understand,
they all turn their backs
and refuse to believe in men.
They just needed
a shining star
to help them on life's journey,
and shine a soothing light
on their burden and pain
during dark and lonely nights
When there is no one left
to console,
No one to lift them up,
they cry out in the throes
of a drifting soul
needing the safety of the shore.
When there is no one
to run to,
God opens wide his arms
To harbor His wounded child.
When there is no one
To comprehend,
God dispatches understanding
In His own way.
When all is said,
When all is done,
God will provide repose
To those who will shelter in His arms,
In HIS love.
